Messages from Pat Cowden:

Dear Brethren,

I had a newsletter ready to send to the printer earlier this week and then something really good happened. On Thursday night, Boyet and I studied with 4 people who are not Christians. Boyet and Joey Treat had already studied with them for quite a while, several months. After an extensive study about counting the cost, two of them, Dante and Lito, requested to be baptised into Christ. We went at 8:15 pm and baptised them in the Pacific Ocean, pretty cool! It was dark and the pictures did not make out, so, I am waiting to get a picture of them on Sunday to put in the newsletter. It should be ready to go to Jim Meinsen for printing on Monday morning our time.

Thank you for your support and keep us in your prayers, things are off to a great start!

Hafa Adai from Saipan!

Brethren as I am writing this I am preparing to go to a Bible study with 2 erring members of the church here in Saipan.  We left the US 4 weeks ago today and things have been like a whirlwind.  Those of you that have been overseas as missionaries can relate, I am sure.

Maria the kids and I went to Tinian for 2 days early this week.  We believe we have found a place to meet to have the church services.  We found a suitable hotel for when we have a campaign and bring helpers over to evangelize the island.  We met two families on the island that are possible prospects for Bible studies.  It was a quick but informative trip and we plan on going back in a couple of weeks to start door knocking one of the villages called Marpo Heights.  There are only 3 villages on the island; Marpo Heights, Carolina Heights, and San Jose

I will, Lord willing be putting out a newsletter early next week.  Please keep us in your prayers.

In His Service
